Theresa McErlean
is a valuable member of our creative staff of skilled and dedicated professional teachers. She began her dance training at age 3 in the Philadelphia area and went on to teach and perform nationally for well- known dance teachers’ associations. Combined with her career in the dance arts, she has enjoyed teaching other forms of movement expression as a cheerleading dance coach and fitness instructor.
Theresa now shares her years of knowledge with our preschool and Mommy & Me classes. This is a woman who loves what she does! She is gracious, friendly and sharply focused on instilling the confidence in her young students that they carry with them throughout their lives. Her vivacious spirit reaches these young children, and they simply adore her! When asked to explain the secret of her success with such young students, she tells us that “as a parent, there’s no better feeling than watching your kids learn how rewarding hard work can be. This internal sense of accomplishment is my goal with all my little dancers.”
As well as building a technical foundation for our students, Theresa appeals to the fantasy in these aspiring young dancers, helping them to grow as dancers through her creative and imaginative instruction.
